Our Story
Our founder and CEO Rami Darwish, spent a decade working in various blue-chip technology companies. While working on designing large-scale infrastructure and security projects, Rami realized that traditional ways of working made it challenging for deskless workers to deliver high-quality work. The challenge he constantly faced was that the digital world ended whenever he needed to get information from key field resources, whether they were technicians, maintenance, security, or any other deskless frontline workers.
Upon research, he realized how an important component of the deskless workforce, in charge of critical jobs in the utility or infrastructure and telecommunications space, operated without any digital tools, and therefore lacked productivity options available for their counterparts in the back office. Mobile employees were constantly forced to go back to manual ways of communicating information over walkie-talkie, SMS, or paper, which in turn had a negative impact on their employer’s bottom line. With this in mind, Rami wondered if providing deskless workers with access to the same real-time data as their desk-based colleagues might improve the situation.
Arrow Labs took MIMS to market in 2018, but the actual company started much earlier than that. The team at Arrow Labs spent years on research and development, working with early adopters, building the platform and figuring out how AI can help in making life simpler and more productive for the frontline. The first addition to the MIMS platform was the web based Software as a Service as well as the mobile application available in both iOS and Android. Shortly afterwards, we launched a wearable device, the MIMS watch. Last but not least, we incorporated MIMS buttons and IoT devices to further streamline workflows and truly provide a complete digital transformation.
Arrow Labs has ventured into the aviation sector by implementing its MIMS technology at an award-winning airport in the MENA region. This deployment aims to enhance and streamline service delivery within the airport’s operations.
Arrow Labs has expanded into the Saudi Arabian market by implementing its MIMS technology in a major nationwide corporation. Additionally, Arrow Labs has introduced MIMS Generation 3, designed to address the intricate business challenges associated with service delivery management across the MENA region
Arrow Labs secures key clients in Europe, deploying the MIMS platform in 3 European countries and expands into the Oil & Gas vertical helping frontline technicians deliver critical services accurately, on time and at a lower cost.
Arrow Labs raises its series A round from investors in silicon valley and MENA fueling regional and international expansion.
Arrow Labs MIMS selected as the software platform to help automate internet service delivery to over 1m homes by a leading Telecom operator.
Arrow Labs introduces IoT ingestion engine in the MIMS platform allowing MIMS to directly capture vital data from critical machines and automate proactive and reactive response.
